ABOUT KULT KAWAII STUDIOS

Hi, I’m Dee. 💕

I’m the creator behind Kult Kawaii Studios—a growing creative universe built from music, characters, storytelling, art, technology, and a truly unreasonable number of ideas that refused to stay separate.

Kult Kawaii didn’t begin as a virtual music studio.

It started much smaller.

🌸 HOW IT STARTED

Kult Kawaii originally grew from my love of cute things, illustration, characters, coloring books, stationery, and making things simply because they made me happy.

But creativity has a habit of wandering.

One character became another.

Ideas started connecting.

Stories appeared where there hadn’t been stories before.

Then music entered the picture.

And somewhere along the way, Kult Kawaii stopped being simply a brand and became a world.

🎧 HOW IT’S GOING

Today, Kult Kawaii Studios is the home of an expanding AI-assisted creative universe combining original music, virtual artists, characters, visual storytelling, worldbuilding, and the fictional Sakura Creative University.

At the center of the music are two very different bands:

🌸 Kult Kawaii — a virtual J-pop idol group built from bright melodies, huge hooks, friendship, emotion, glitter, and beautifully controlled chaos.

📡 NOIR//SIGNAL — a virtual Japanese rock project exploring memory, connection, loss, resonance, and beauty buried beneath overwhelming sound.

Two worlds.

One frequency.

And they’re only the beginning.

🌸 SAKURA CREATIVE UNIVERSITY

Much of this universe intersects at Sakura Creative University, a fictional creative campus where musicians, artists, designers, performers, dreamers, and an increasingly suspicious amount of lore collide.

SCU gives these characters somewhere to exist beyond individual songs.

Friendships form.

Bands rehearse.

People fall in love.

People absolutely make terrible decisions.

Stories overlap.

And sometimes something introduced in one corner of the universe quietly reappears somewhere else.

Everything can connect.

🤖 CREATIVITY + AI

AI is part of how Kult Kawaii Studios is made, and I don’t want to hide that.

I use AI tools throughout the creative process alongside my own ideas, writing, direction, worldbuilding, editing, experimentation, decision-making, and approximately seventeen thousand instances of saying, “Okay, but what if we tried this?”

For me, AI isn’t the creator.

It’s another instrument in an increasingly ridiculous creative toolbox.

The technology lets me explore ideas across music, artwork, characters, storytelling, and visual media in ways I couldn’t accomplish alone.

But the choices—the strange connections, emotional threads, endless revisions, things I keep and things I throw away—are mine.

This project exists because I genuinely love making it.

💕 WHY KULT KAWAII?

Because I’ve never been particularly interested in choosing just one thing.

Cute can coexist with dark.

Pop can coexist with distortion.

Glitter can coexist with grief.

Something can be ridiculous and still mean something.

And technology doesn’t have to make creativity less human—it can give someone another way to express the things already living inside them.

Kult Kawaii Studios is where all of those contradictions get to exist together.

This project is still growing.

There are more songs to make, more characters to meet, more stories to uncover, and probably several fictional campus buildings that absolutely do not need detailed histories but will somehow get them anyway.
